Students Enjoy Pre-Passover Bread Binge
In preparation for Passover, Beach Hillel hosted a Bread Binge on campus. Students were invited to come to a Pre-Passover Pig Out to relax with friends and enjoy lots of chametz. Students enjoyed their donuts, bagels and cake while catching up with friends after being on Spring Break last week. After her morning run, Candice Lebowitz, a Junior Psychology student, stopped by the Interfaith Center for the Bread Binge. “It seemed like forever that I had seen anyone and I always enjoy the on-campus events. It’s really convenient
since I live in the dorms and I never have to worry about missing something! It was nice to catch up with friends today,” she said. Students were also encouraged to clean out the chametz from their dorms and apartments to donate to the food pantry in the Interfaith Center. Any student is able to pick up free food and drinks from the food pantry or donate to it.
Beach Hillel will be hosting a Passover seder this Friday evening and making matzah pizza’s on campus next week. For more information about our seder, check out the Facebook event.
