Are YOU interested in being a student leader?  Beach Hillel is offering a variety of opportunities for you to get involved, boost your resume, and gain valuable leadership skills.  You could be the next:

President- lead student board meeting. Attend leadership training sessions at the end of the summer. facilitate board programming. Attend as many programs as possible. Act as a campus leader and work to engage other student groups.

Communications Chair- attend board meetings. Advertise programs around campus using fliers. Creating and overseeing phone trees.

Marketing Chair-participate in board meetings. Create a monthly calendar of events. Create fliers and advertisements for events

Programming Chair-oversee programming for Beach Hillel. assistant in the creating of social and educational programs through out the academic year.

Secretary- put together agendas for meeting. Take minutes at meetings and email them to board members after meetings

Israel Chair- create pro israel programs campus wide. Facilitate at least one Israel program a month. Prepare and facilitate Ifest 2011.

AEPi Liaison- attend all board meetings. Inform AEPi members of all upcoming Hillel events and make sure attendance is adequate. Make sure that the Hillel calendar and AEPi calendar don’t conflict.

Shabbat Chair- participate in the organization of shabbat meals on campus. Reserve rooms and organize set up and clean up for campus shabbat meals.

Hebrew Hammers Chair- assist with team recruitment and sign up. send out game reminders and updates via email.

  • All student board members are asked to help facilitate shabbat meals on campus.
  • All board members are required to participate in one of two student phone a thons
