As Beach Hillel and Jewish students and supporters celebrate the 60th anniversary of the modern state of Israel the CSULB MSA showcase the worst in anti-Jewish stereotypes: Going full force with a guerrilla theater presentation of Jewish soldiers beating CSULB students dressed as Muslim school children, a pregnant woman and an unarmed docile man… Film Footage will be on YouTube later today. Promoting hatred with classic anti-Jewish blood libel tactics is protected free speech on campus.
I wonder how students and administrators would react to a theatrical presentation of a Native American scalping a white woman if it was presented by the Minute Men, or a forced Clitoral Excision or Honor Killing of Muslim girl at the hands of her family? I doubt it would be accepted with such calmness.

The students were merely portraying Israeli soldiers, and not Jews (the star of David is to depict the Israeli flag, not Jewish people). If anything, this video will create divisions among Muslim and Jewish students. The MSA was only trying to show how hard it is for a Palestinian to get to school, work, a hospital. This is all fact, agreed upon by historians, but there is only controversy among those who are not experts in the subject–just like global warming. If you took time to research(not from U.S. mainstream media) anyone can see that the government of Israel (not Jews!) creates many hardships for the native Palestinians. The majority of Israeli citizens do not agree with what their government is doing to Palestinians–I can’t see why Beach Hillel won’t condemn Israel’s actions toward Palestinians either–instead they celebrate Israel. This is like a slap in the face for Palestinians–like Columbus Day or Fourth of July for native Americans. It is an issue of human rights, not religion.

The STOP HONORCIDE! campaign was launched on Mother’s Day 2008. The goal of the campaign is to prosecute honorcides to the fullest extent of the law. We want honorcide to be classified as a hate crime and we advocate for every existing hate crime legislation to be amended to include honorcide.

Sadly this is continuing – as we saw what happened today. Hatred is getting worse at CSULB.
