I guess that Israel can qualify as a land of true love. I recently had two friends who got engaged there after attending a wedding. Luckily, it wasn’t this one. Sharon Tendler, a British citizen, went to the gorgeous Israeli city of Eilat to get married as well, in what seems to be a slightly odd couple if ever there was one. She married a dolphin in the Dolphin Reef named Cindy, which she came to know 15 years ago on a trip to Israel. Although the ceremony wasn’t one with legalities, it seems to be the most peculiar love relationship since Madonna and Kabbalah. From the Associated Press:

Dressed in a white dress, a veil and pink flowers in her hair, Tendler got down on one knee on the dock and gave Cindy a kiss. And a piece of herring. “It’s not a perverted thing. I do love this dolphin. He’s the love of my life,” she said Saturday, upon her return to London.

I guess there is something to be said about marrying a dolphin. You don’t have to clean up after them, and they are pretty cute. However, there are other issues, but the fact is that maybe this is not the time and place to debate those. For the full article, read below:
